USB detecting problems on Windows 7 vmware

Host

Ryzen 2700x

Msi x470 motherboard

Vms:

Windows 7

I recently upgraded my computer and have been having problems with the USB.

I have read a lot of articles concerning windows 7 and USB3.0 and tried quite a few of the suggestions.

The host computers usb 3.0/3.1 works fine, but the Vms only show one device working.

Sometimes the usb devices change.  This time its for my headset.

Concerning drivers for the Vm in usb 2.0 mode this is what i get

When i change it to 3.0 this is what i get

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I don't  quite understand your issue. For USB 3.0 of Windows 7 VM, you need to install driver in VM as instructed in VM > Settings > USB Controller. But your VM should work with either USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 regardless of what USB controller you have on your host.

For some reason the VM only lists 1 of the mutiple USB devices connected.  Before on and old system it would list 2 mouses, keyboard, gamepads, etc.
