USB Not Working

I'm running the latest version of Workstation 6 on a 64-bit version of Vista. I recently created an XP professional VM.

When first installed, the VM used to detect when I plugged my blackberry cradle (with Blackberry device) into the USB port. I have the option set to take on the USB device, if the VM has focus.

The problems is that this no longer occurs. That is, I plug in my BB and nothing happens. I check the config file and I do have USB.present = "TRUE" (I think that's the syntax).

If this helps...the VM used to detect when I put a CD in too. However, I can only get this to work if I disconnect the CD by right-clicking on the CD icon, at the bottom of the vm, and then re-connecting it.

Any ideas? All help is appreciated. Note that I attached my VMX file.

I should have added another piece of information - the sound used to work too. All-of-a-sudden, it stopped.

Update: Found the sound problem...was related to the host computer

Now it's working...and I don't know why.
