USB Memory sticks are not seen in VM guest

VMware workstation Linux Host -> Win Guest do not see the USB devices (also not seen under VM->Removable Devices)

The Devices are seen and accesible under the linux host.

Any Hints ?!

I used the dmesg command to see the vendotr details.. using them in the vmx file did not help.

The host can access the usb stick, but vmware seems not to see it..

Thanks for reporting the issue. Could you please provide your host os, guest os, and USB device type, and Workstation version?

Could you please describe your scenario and upload log files: usb arbitrator log(/var/log/vmware/vmware-usb-xxx), UI log(Click workstation help menu->About, you can see UI log location), and vmware.log(you can find this in VM folder)? Thanks a lot for your cooperation.
