I'm trying to run different multiple Windows based Guest OS and having trouble due to Azure and Autopilot. In order to successfully test policies from Intune different hardware tags need to be edited. VMware-00.... isn't acceptable because the device needs to be excluded from VM based policies, using the host machines ID doesn't work because Intune is using it for Autopilot causing a duplication of the system. Switching to BIOS and customizing it will cause failures due to hardware and policy requirements similar to how Windows 11 want's a newer TPM for security features.
I'm over explaining it because it seems this shows up on forums constantly and is almost always associated with piracy.
