I am running Workstation Pro v12.5.9 on Windows 10 host.
After upgrading the VM to MacOS High Sierra, it won't boot. After hanging for about 5 mins, a message, "Tools heartbeat timeout", is printed in vmware.
Later in the log, a similar message gets printed, "GuestRpcSendTimedOut: message to toolbox-dnd timed out."
Some suggested the the VMWare tools should be upgraded. But as the VM won't even start, I am not sure how that would be accomplished.
I am at a loss. Any pointers would be appreciated.
