Too many virtual machines.

Hello! Recently I ran into a problem: it prevents more than 64 Virtual Machines from starting.
Throws an error: "Cannot power on virtual machine: Too many virtual machines.
Failed to start the virtual machine. "

Please tell me why such a restriction was introduced?
I am working on version 15.5.
And how can I run more virtual machines? There are more than enough system resources.
Thank you in advance)

Ryzen 9 3900X, 128gb.

Thanks for the answer)
I ran 25 virtual machines in a separate window.
And I ran into just the 64 limit.
As I understand it, there is no way around it at all?

Hi,

Yes, that's a hard built-in limit.

See for example:

If I'm not mistaken then you can work around it by starting another Workstation instance.

Alternatively, start two virtual machines that will be used as a host and run 64 virtual machines inside each. That's 128 on one physical computer. Or is it a bad idea?)
