hi,
running workstation pro 12
virtual printing is enabled and my vm has a virtual printer connected
this was working until yesterday
today all the host printers appear disconnected in the device manager of the windows 10 vm
reinstalled vmwaretools several times already
uninstalled the printer from the vm settings and reinstalled but nothing works
the host printers do not show up although the printer device is connected....
anyone any idea to get my host printers back?
tia,
marc
I have the same problem since a few weeks. Workstation is 12.1, VM host is Windows 10 Pro and my client VMs are running different Windows versions (2008, 7, 8.1 and 10). The clients are setup with NAT networking. But the virtual printers are gone everywhere!
I have enabled virtual printers in Workstation and have also tried to reinstall VMWare Tools, but with no success.
Could it be a Windows 10 update? A service that has not started?
Anyone?
Did either of you solve this thin print issue? I have Workstation Pro 12.55 and have not been able to use virtual printers.
