1. Are you using VMware Workstation rather than ThinApp or Horizon?

2. What files do you have in the E:\Windows 11 x64 folder? Posting a full listing of the folder will help others to help you.

To find out what can be done, please

  1. Create an new directory, and extract the files from the attached .zip archive into this folder
  2. Drag the VM's folder onto the .cmd file. This will extract the .vmdk files' metadata, i.e. no user data into Metadata*.bin files
  3. Run dir *.* > filelist.txt in the VM's folder to get a complete file list
  4. compress/zip the Metadata*.bin files, the filelist.txt, as well as the VM's .vmx, and .vmsd file.
  5. attach the .zip archive to your next reply

Please note that the script will only work, if the virtual disk files are not encrypted!
