Welcome to the Community,

The screenshots are unfortunately missing important details.
Please run dir *.* /one > filelist.txt in the VMs folder, then compress/zip "filelist.txt", "Work Windows 7.vmdk" (the small text file) along with a current vmware.log (if there is one), and attach the .zip archive to your next reply.

As a side note: Please do not use external links to provide details like screenshots, attachments, etc. but insert them directly into your posts.

The folder contains a "Work Windows 7.vmdk" sub-directory, although this name is actually required for the virtual disk's descriptor/header file. Do you have an idea what may have happened? What's in this sub-directory?
Unless the sub-directory contains the correct "Work Windows 7.vmdk" file, let me know, and I will try to recreate one for you.

As in any recovery case, please consider to backup the VM's current files in case something unexpected happens during the recovery!

To save some time, I've created a replacement for the missing "Work Windows 7.vmdk" file.
What you need to do is to close VMware Workstation, rename the "Work Windows 7.vmdk" directory, extract the .vmdk file from the attached .zip archive, and save it in the VM's folder.
