Has anyone else experienced this issue also?
The VMware Authorization Service service failed to start after running Microsoft update KB5014699.
After running the update, I'm unable to launch the Workstation app nor reinstall/uninstall it.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I have VMware® Workstation 16 Pro
16.2.4 build-20089737
on
Microsoft Windows 10 - OsVersion : 10.0.19042
These 2 errors are shown in the event viewer in windows when trying to launch VMware Authorization Service manually:
- The VMware Authorization Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
- A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the VMware Authorization Service service to connect.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
