While in Exclusive Mode - which is my preference - Is there a way/option to switch/toggle between running v-machines by some key combination ?
thanks

Use ctrlaltleft and ctrlaltright key to switch between VMs
Make sure Vmware tools installed on both VMs and should be powered on

Have you actually tried it yourself ?
It seems once the VM is in EXCLUSIVE MODE- ctrlaltleft/right does not work.
Hi,
Is VMware tools installed on both VMs?
I have tested in Exclusive mode with 2 VMs and it's working

Yes, I always have Tools up and running.
I'm running this browser session in v-machine (XP) right now in Exclusive mode - another v-machine (XP) is also up - in Vista host
ctrlaltLeft/right-arrow does nothing.
Is your host Windows ?
Wish some more people would chime in.....Looks like this forum is made up of just you and me LOL

I use the controlaltright/left arrows while in exclusive mode - works fine. Host: XPSP3, guests: XP SP2/SP3, ubuntu 8.04 LTS, Solaris U5,U6, CentOS.
Note: this does seem to be "modal" - once a switch has occurred, you have to release the keys and press again. One can't keep the Control+Alt keys held down and just press a left/right arrow key to continue cycling through vms.
well do you guys have the following checked/enabled for the v-machines ?
Enable VMCI
Virtual keyboard
ACE enabled
I have none of those enabled
