Suspend problem

I have a problem with VMWare W. When I suspend the VM from the inside of his system options, and then not by VMWare options, randomly the pc doesnt go into sleep mode (stanby), but it turns on again immediately.

Host Windows 7 32 bit, guest Ubuntu 3.8 32/64 bit, but happend with others OS too.

Usually it happens after more than one cycle of sleep guest/host, the first time ever in short.
