I am evaluating WS pro 14 for my company. We are currently using Virtualbox.
Host:
Windows 10 laptop
VPN Cisco Anyconnect 4.x (Split-Tunnel)
Workstation Pro 14
Guest
Fedora 28 with NAT in guest settings
When I authenticate Host VPN adapter I get internal DNS in my guest, but lose external DNS. Host still has internal and external DNS. I would prefer not to install VPN client on each guest as that would be an administrative nightmare.
We had the same issue with VirtualBox but found if you add the "--natdnshostresolver1 on" option to the VM the DNS issue is resolved. Is there a similar command for VMware WS?
