Some unfunctional happened on Siemens Portal software after upgrade to 15.5.5

We run siemens Portal software in VM Workstation. That is an industrial software from siemens, version 16. At beginning, we run it on VMware 15.5.2 and it is working well. But after upgraded to v15.5.5, some operations on the software became unfunctional, such as browsing a project and release an faceplate after modification. I had to degrade to old version 15.5.2, and then it is functional again.

Hi,

Thanks for your attention

Then here are the information you need.

1. HOST information

CPU - I7-7700HQ@2.80GHz

32GB memory

Windows 10 Pro v1909

Hyper-V disabled or unchecked

Windows was upgraded from the old 1903.

2 Guest information

3. Sorry, how can I get these data, such as log or support data, please guide me.

4.for the step, I take the Release faceplate as example.

- Start the Siemens Portal V16 software as normal

- Opened my last open project with faceplate

- Open a faceplate or datatype for HMI

- Edit the faceplate - did some modifications, such as move a push button

- Click release the modification to open confirm dialog

- In the opened dialog, click OK button and nothing happened, even I click Cancel and cannot close this dialog.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for your information. Could you please help to collect some support data from WS menu->help->collect support data->check the VM(select the VM you want to collect support data for), then click "collect" button. we'll do more investigation.

Thanks a lot.
