Shared VM's

So it's wonderful news that Workstation 16.1 restores the shared vm capability.  Thanks for doing that, VMware!

Now the problem is, there's no "share vm" dialogue in the "manage" part of the preferences dialogue.  How do I get the formerly shared VM's, which were returned to the unshared directory, back into the shared list in the VMware application?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, DanWolfe

Thanks for your supporting.

Maybe you have already known that shared VM is being deprecated by VMware which has been mentioned in RN of https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Workstation-Pro/16.1.0/rn/VMware-Workstation-1610-Pro-Release-Note.... so if users have shared VM running in previous 15.x release, you could continue to use the shared VM after upgrading to 16.1 release and also in case this feature will be removed in future release, it is provided to "unshared" the shared VM to run as a local VM. however it is not supported to share new local VMs in 16.1.

If you have to use the shared VM in 16.1, as the workaround, I think you could shared VMs with 15.5.7 release. then run them in 16.1.

Best Regards
