VMWare Workstation version 6.0.4 build-93057, Windows XP guest.
I have a Windows App (MYOB) that has been working fine with its data files on a shared folder. Operated daily for 12 mths with no problem.
Today, however, it complains that it can't measure disk space and refuses to continue. If I move the data file to a Windows drive, then it works fine.
Using Windows Explorer to view the properties of the virtual folder reports zero free and zero used disk space. I have no idea whether this is normal or has changed.
Should virtual folders report disk space? And, if so, why would it have stopped working?
