Setup on Windows 11: VMInstallHcmon - Failed to install the hcmon driver.

Hello, Community!

I have a question about installing VMware on Windows 11.

When I run VMware Setup on my new Windows 11, the error appears as attached. When I click OK, the changes rolled back, and the installation aborts.

I have tried several ways from internet to solve this error. However, none of that worked.

Also previously, I ran Setup on Windows 10 without any error issues.

So, currently I can't use VMware on my computer on Windows 11.

Is there a solution to this problem, or Windows 11 is not supported yet, or what?

Maybe that's it.
Thanks!

Problem solved!

I solved it by installing the Windows 11 Dev channel update, i.e. build 22483.

The assumption may be, Beta channel builds, 22000.282 and/or earlier, available components are not fully complete.

So, indeed some applications can not be installed.

The case is the same as GeForce Experience is not working properly, and now it is running fine.

Maybe that's it.
