Setting up internal routing between host and VM's

Hi,

I recently bought an OpenVpn-service that allows my host to connect trough a VPN-tunnel and get a unique IP from my VPN provider. I also bought 3 additional IP's from the provider and I want to assignone of these IP's to each of my VM's. To be able to assign these IP's to additional computers, according to my provider, I have to set up internal routing. This is where I'm struggling and need help doing this with VMWare.

I'm trying to follow my providers guide on setting up internal routing which can be found here:

First of all I'd like to know how to complete step 2 correctly when dealing with VM's. I should set up an internal network between the host and the VM's. Should I do this from inside the Virtual Network Editor? And exactly what settings should I have for that network for it to be such a network that should be set up according to the guide? I'm confused about whether I should set the settings to bridged or host-only and so on. Please help me here.

The rest of the steps in the guide I think I've completed correctly however it isn't working. The Vm shows me it's connected to a Local AreaConnection however when opening the webbrowser I'm notable to reach the internet, nor can I ping the VM.

I really need your help here, I'm a beginner when it comes to these things so try to keep it as simple as possible Smiley Wink

I just tried tracerouting from the VM and I just get "request timed out" whichever ip I try to traceroute. Could this help anyone to locate the problem?
