Setting specific layout at vm start'?

Hello,

I'm using Workstation 14 and really want know if it is possible to set a specific monitor layout at VM startup?

For example and further explanation:

- VM has multiple monitors

- I can set (or cycle) the layouts with the gui buttons.

Is it possible to use 2 monitors at the start... in my case layout 2,

maybe with configuring in the vmx file?

Or do I need to cycle through the layouts and how could this be done??

Regards and thanks,

Andreas

In the current functionality, you will need to click on cycle everytime the VM is started up.

First thank you for your reply. Of course I'm using vmrun for starting the VM. It also could be a little flag...

I went trough the options of vmrun and there is at least no possible way.

In the forums there is some old solution from 2014 (vmrun start <vmx> -- option to switch on full-screen-mode?) but it is just for

switching to fullscreen and does not work anymore.

Do you know why this was removed ?
