Seamlessly transferring files between a Windows 10 Desktop and Windows 11 VM - Workstation 16.2.3

Hello again -

I would like to seamlessly transfer (Drag and Drop files) from my Windows 10 Desktop into a Windows 11 VM and vice-versa.

Right now I am using a Network share between the two OS'es and it slows me down. Can't Copy and Paste, either.

Any ideas appreciated.

Many thanks!

😁

Please check VM Tools are Fully (not Normally) installed, and all VMWare Services are started and running.
When Copy/Move not available on Windows 11 VM there is an Issue within the VM Tools.

Have you installed the VMware Tools?  If so, then this capability should already be present and working.

@Smart_Neuron

Drag and Drop from one VM to other VM was not able. Must first copy to host an then copy into other VM.
