Saving The Snap SHots and Inserting Them

Hi there,

I noticed that taking snap shots from some software which is being updated so often is very useful. By every update I can open the snap shot and update and the software. The problem is that the snap shots take lot of space of the hard drive. I am talking about those software which take up to 2 GB of the hard drive.

My question:  is it possible to save the snp shot outside of the Virtual machine like  flash drive and insert it when needed?

Nope - you need all snapshots to be available when you run the VM

The snapshots build a chain of vmdks - if you move one or delete one the VM is corrupt and will not start any more
