SMBus Host Controller not enabled! /dev/sda3 :clean, 225277/1277952 files, 5106688/5110784 blocks

Hi Everyone,

I created an Ubuntu 20.04 VM and allocated 20 gb. Well, the machine warned me about too little disk space that has left and I ignored but now I cant even get the machine to boot normally or even boot in recovery mode.

The error I keep getting is as follow - SMBus Host Controller not enabled! /dev/sda3 :clean, 225277/1277952 files, 5106688/5110784 blocks

Any ideas how to solve this?

thank you!!

I would probably start by allocating more storage, then  boot to a live CD and run Gparted to expand and test the file system. Looks like /dev/sda3 is the partition in need. There is an iso to boot to a Gparted image.

Or, if this is just a new VM with nothing installed, just trash and start over.
