Running a program from Windows XP

I have a very old calendar program (ccwin) that I have run for years via vmware - had to re-install my OS (windows 10) - downloaded vmware, but it doesn't find the calendar program and I have no idea how to resolve the problem - any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Going to need lots more info than that.  Assume you used VMware Workstation Pro, since that's the forum you posted in.  What current version?  What version did you used to run?  You mention in the title Windows XP but no mention of it in the post - I assume that's the guest OS in the Virtual Machine you ran.  Where is/was the VM before when it worked?

To your host computer (and the VMware's software products), a virtual machine is similar to a Word document.  So wherever it was before, just find it and open it... and it *should* work.

Yes, I finally got it figured out - loaded XP into vmware and installed the program that I needed and all is working well - need to figure out how to get all the info now from the program and load it into a program that will work with Win10 - thanks for the assistance.
