Retaining VM specs when installing new product

Good Evening. My host laptop runs Windows 10, my guest OS (only one VM) runs Windows XP.

I've been using an evaluation version of Workstation 16 Pro, which has now expired. I have downloaded the installation launcher and purchased a commercial licence for Workstation 16 Player. When I try to install the latter, I'm told that Player won't run next to Pro, so uninstall the Workstation 16 Pro. Fair enough...

.My concern is that, when I uninstall Workstation 16 Pro, I could lose all the setup information for my single VM. How can I retain the VM information and use it with my new installation of Workstation 16 Player, please?

VMs in VMware Workstation are treated like documents in Word, Excel, or other applications, so don't worry about the VMs.
The most that could possible happen is that the virtual network will use other subnets for NAT, and Host-Only.
