Restoring a Windows Platform without Using Add/Remove Procedure

Hi,

I saw a demonstration of a Virtual Machine which was installed on a Mac Machine platform. The instructor installed an application and when he was done with the capturing and the packaging , he pushed on a button to uninstall the application (restored to the old state). Is there any way to do the same thing on a Windows platform without using "Add/Remove Program" procedure?

Sure.

1. Take a snapshot of your Windows Guest.

2. Install/configure your software in your Guest and perform whatever "capturing and packaging" means,

3. Revert your Guest back to the snapshot you took in step 1.
