I was having all kinds of problems with my resolution not holding: if I restarted the VM, my resolution went back to 640x480..
Question: After installing and setting up Tools, if I change the xorg.conf file -- for instance, from:
Virtual 640 480
Modes "640x480@60"
so that it reads:
Virtual 1280 960
Modes 800x600 1024x768 1280x1024 1280x960
aside from "Will it work?" will it negatively affect the Tools install?
