-That's the error i'm getting, trying to register my username to this site.
My problem with the software is:
Installed latest vmware workstation pro.
Ran trial version, and uninstalled. it is no longer listed in "add remove programs", and the shortcut remains on desktop.
The program is NOT removed.
- why is this installer created this way?
-why doesn't it work like it's supposed to?
If you install something, for the first time, and remove the software, it shouldn't remain on the computer.

I ran the installer again, in hopes of it giving me an option to uninstall, but instead it runs as it only wants to install. No option in it to uninstall?
What is this sorcery?

I installed with the installer again, restarted, and ran the installer to remove the software with it.
It seemed to remove the desktop shortcut and the program folder as well.
