Quick switch resolution for the guest OS

Hi,

I have a 20" screen, 1600x1200, and i would like to display Windows XP guest OS in the quick switch mode... in this mode, VMWare 6 is full screen, with a nice tabbed bar, meaning that the resolution available for the guest OS is a little smaller, +- 1600x1175 or something like that...

But the VMWare tools vga driver does not present me such a resolution, i just have the choice between 1600x1200 (too big) and 1400x1050 (too small)... is there a way with the VMWare driver to choose a resolution adapted to the quick switch mode ?

From the menu, choose VM > Fit Guest Now. (Or enable Autofit Guest mode.)

Thanks, i was looking to configure the resolution of the guest directly into the guest, not into VMWare

Note : with VMWare Workstation 6, i've found this option into the "view" menu.
