Query about compatibility

I need to create an image from VM ware workstation 16 and used that image in 6.7.
Is there any backward compatablity issue ?

I've reported your thread, it needs to be moved to the Workstation Pro area.

Just make sure to specify during the VM creation that you want a Workstation 6.0 (or 6.5-7.x) compatible one.

I'm assuming you mean ESXi 6.7? When creating a new VM, select Custom, then on the next page select ESXi 6.7 Hardware compatibility level.
