Protect Settings "Lockout Feature"

is there a way to protect the VMWARE Workstation Settings like in the older Versions (6.5, 6)

to prevent changings the parameters?

or maybe a workaround to protect setting changes

you can still encrypt the VM - then you need a password for any changes in the config.

WARNING: if you consider using encrypted VMs you MUST make a backup of the vmx-file after you encrypted it

thank you for the hint, but if someone wants to access the virtual machine he must type in

the passwort,

i want to protect only the settings (RAM, others...) but access to the VM is free
