Problems with a new installation of Windows Server 2003 enterprise

Hello,

yesterday I've installed Windows 2003 enterprise (the 32-bit version) on VMware Workstation 8.

Right after the installation, I am getting an error window with the picture of a mouse, saying that

Windows could not install this hardware (or something similar).

Afterwards, the VMware tools installation starts. And during that installation, I am getting another

window with only an OK button - VMware could not not install the mouse driver and that I should

try to install it manually...

PLEASE HELP !!!

Did you use the "Easy Install" feature or did you select "I will install the OS later" in the new VM wizard? Issues like this are sometimes seen with using Easy Install and/or if the "Windows" directory is renamed.

I used the easy install (REALLY saves a LOT of time !! 🙂 )
