Problems with Worsestation 17

I had the 16 version, downloaded the 17 pro file and upgraded. Checked for software updates, there one for 17.0.1. Ok, started the process. But it couldn't start the upgrade because vmware.exe was open. Tried the close the update box on vmware itself, but it did not allow it. Tried to close vmware itself, not possible. The only way to close it, was to open task manager and close it from there, in order to continue to upgrade to 17.0.1.

VMWare, do you even test this stuff before releasing it to the public?

I wanted to auto-start a VM on boot. Followed the guide, but right-clicking on My Computer only showed VMs NOT on folders.

For some reason, my Rocky Linux 9 VM has a slow boot now. No setting was changed.

Networking for that VM is not working. No setting was changed. Nor any networking setting on windows was changed.

VMware, if i was a decision maker on a company, why would i pick you over other competitors when you can't even get the basic stuff done right?
