Problems with Linux Virtual Machine Inside Windows 10

Hello,

I installed Linux Mint recently as a virtual machine. At first, everything was fine, but then after I attempted to install VM tools the machine became unresponsive, meaning, I can't open the terminal or even Firefox. Any suggestions?

Thanks for this! I chose Mint specifically because an Internet article said that it was good for virtual machines. Clearly they did not have VMware workstation in mind when they wrote that.

You could try this: Linux Mint VM images for VMware and VirtualBox
