Problem with VMWare workstation 14 pro after kernel upgrade on debian Buster

Hi guys!

I am trying to bring my Debian 10 (Buster) installation up to date kernel wise....

I have had VMWare 14 Pro working without problems on the standard debian kernel 4.19.0-6-amd64 and the 4.19.0-9-amd54 - but as soon as I upgraded to a 5.10.0-0.bpo.8 kernel things started to break.

If I try to start vmware in a terminal - I get the following:

vmware
/usr/bin/vmware: rad 105:  1919 Segmenteringsfel        "$BINDIR"/vmware-modconfig --appname="VMware Workstation" --icon="vmware-workstation"

Is there a way around this? Sorry about the Swedish

Thanks
