Unable to continue without a UI.

The application 'vmware' lost its connection to the display localhost:1.0;

most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed

I think the problem is related to "Jul 03 09:55:28: vmui| VMHSCbUtilFileLs failed: File not found

(/root/vmware/Windows XP Professional/Windows XP Professional.vmx)" this file exist in the platform, is possible that exist any missconfiguration?, you have had any similar experience with this problem?

Thanks a lot for your help!

You may want to update your Workstation to the latest 5.x version (currently 5.5.9, I believe) and see if it resolves any of your issues.

Also, check the user rights/permissions on the VM's folder and files. Workstation requires read/write/execute for the vmx file, read/write for the other files and the folder.
