Problem with Solaris 11 vmware-tools (6.0.1) xorg.conf black screen

Well I installed vmware-tools from 6.0.1 on my Solaris CDE 05/07 guest and re-booted with the xorg.conf that tools had put there.

Result a black screen.

Investigation shows that X appears to have take a SEGV.

Attached are the xorg.conf that vmware-tools put into /etc/X11 - which I notice over-wrote my UK keyboard (grrrr).

Also attached are the log from the failing session (Xorg.0.fail.log) and from a session I started after connecting to the system using Putty and deleting the xorg.conf file (Xorg.0.no.xorg.conf.log).

Please could someone assist me in getting a workable xorg.conf for 6.0.1 workstation? As the way things are right now I don't get all the benefits of running tools.

Many thanks

Dave
