Problem connecting to the Internet from the Virtual Machine

Hi there,

Since the installion  of the Workstation version 7.1.5_491717, I am having problem connecting to the Internet. The device manager of the Host machine in the area of Networkadapters shows:

Intel(R)/100 VE Network Connection

Vmware Virtual Ethenet Adapter for Vmnet1

Vmware Virtual Ethernet Adapter for Vmnet8

and all are working properly.

The device manger of the Virtual machine in the Network adapters area shows:

Vmware accelerated AMD PCnet Adapter

and is working properly.

On the internet Explorer of the Virtual machine,I tried the different setting but did not have any success. Is there any way to fix this?

How did you configure the VM and the network settings within the guest OS. Unless you need any special settings, I suggest you configure "NAT" in the VM's settings and set the guest OS network to receive it's IP settings automatically (DHCP).
