Windows10 host with WMWare workstation player 16.1 PRO just purchased, downloaded, installed and activated with the license.
Host hardware: I5 10th gen processor with UHD630 running the last driver, OpenGL 4.6 working (tested)
Setup for harware acceleration max for VMWare player PRO, done!
Windows10 guest, VMWare tool installed, openGL version 4.1 (Compatibility profile)
The questions are:
- I need the 4.3 version, at least, is something I miss?
- Can I have an how-to guide to have the 4.3 openGL running on guest?
(it seem to be a feature of the PRO version, see the screenshot at the end of the message)
- Will this VM will play also with the notPRO version at my home if one day i'll clone/move it? With OpenGL 4.3 feature or back to 4.1?
- What this "compatibility profile" is?!? I need the OpenGL to speedup my application, in this situation the 2D operation are faster with OpenGL software emulation 😞
