32GB Ram. 1TB NVMe boot drive. 1TB SSD secondary drive. Windows 10 Pro
Created a guest VM running Windows 10 Pro has 16GB Ram dedicated to it.
Now to the question, I use this guest OS for software development. I use Visual Studio and Sql Server. I have read alot online about the proper settings for the Processor in the guest VM settings, but it is quite conflicting. Nothing authoritative.
How do you figure the proper values to set number of processors and number of cores per processor? Any guidance based on my guest VM that I use for software development? I currently have it set for : Number of processors 1, number of cores per processor 4.
