No problems encountered!!

Unfortunately, Forums are a place where people mostly go to report and get resolutions to issues. For a change, I just wanted to share a problem free upgrade experience to at least document what does work.

Hardware: Asus M3A79T Deluxe; AMD Phenom II 945; ATI Radeon 4870; 8G RAM

Original Config:

- Windows Vista 64; VMWare Workstation 6.5 {Primary VM = Windows XP with Cisco VPN Client (work)}

New Config:

- Windows 7 64; VMWare 7.01-227600

I uninstalled software as instructed by Windows Upgrade Advisor (which included WMWare WS/Video drivers, etc) .

Win upgrade took about 3 hours, then I installed video drivers, MB drivers,VMWare WS - then Antivirus.

Everything works perfectly, including the Cisco VPN. No issues whatsoever to report. VM seems to run a bit faster.
