I had VMware workstation pro 15.5 running a windows 10 VM that had internet access.
Now that I upgraded to workstation 17 I had problems in a new Windows 10 VM I created in pro 17. So I uninstalled and reinstalled pro 17 and that worked for the new pro 17 windows 10 VM. However the Pro 15 VM I had had before will not connect at all, and says the cable is unplugged. I uninstalled and reinstalled again and no luck with the pro 15 VM.
I am not really tech savoy with networking and have tried some suggestions but no luck
