No access to workgroup PCs in bridged mode

I have an XP guest running on an XP box unable to access any of my workgroup pcs. Used to work but stopped for no apparent reason. Can windows firewall running on the host have anything to do with this? running Vmware 5.5

please do post the ipconfig -all output from ur guest and Host OS machines ..please all try installing latest version of vmware wks ie 6.5.2 if possible ..anwaays please do post hte output of ipconfig-all
