Newbie question about loading an image into VM

I can get my head around VM guest machines and have loaded W2003 server onto VM workstation on my laptop successfully

Now someone has sent me the VM image of a thin client device so i can load it into VM to have a look at it

Thing is I haven't a clue how to do it !!!!

The folder I have consists of a

62 MB VM Virtual Disk file

192 Kb VM Virtual Disk file

1 Kb VM config file

9 Kb Nvram file

And 4 text files labelled vmware, 1,2, and 3 - (look like log files of some)

Now have any of u clever virtualised people got any ideas how i load that into VM !!!!?

Just select "Open Existing Virtual Machine", and browse to that folder and select the .vmx file. Power it on.

P.S. Do yourself a favor and reverse the stupid MS default of hiding file extensions for known file types. My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View Tab>Uncheck box for "Hide File Extensions..."
