Need to turn off Defender to start machines

Hi,

For some reason I need to turn off Windows Defender to start machines, and I don't know why this behaviour has started for me now(I haven't had this before). See the error below when Defender is activated.

If I turn off real time-protection in Windows Defender on my host, then I can start vmware and resume the machines ago. How come this happens? Should I exclude the Virtual Machines folder in Defender?

Hi,

Can't answer any of your earlier questions, but..

> Should I exclude the Virtual Machines folder in Defender?

That's a yes, always has been a yes.
