Hello,

I have several VM machines definied under Workstaiton PRO 15, linux, windows).

Today the VMWare directory is about more than 280 G° which is very big, I am looking for help trying to reduce the space disk for all  vm machines.

Attached the dir *.* > filelist.txt for all vm directories.

Thanks in advance for your help and recommandations.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

I deleted the whole Snapshots and  it tooks only 15 mns for all deletions.

Indeed I have now less space disk used.

thanks again

You will have to excuse me, unless I've missed something . . . but have you not already been given information on how to approach this !

Hi,

My article here:

details a number of ways on how you can reclaim back space

The article referred to in wila response covers shrinking 'Win VM', 'Linux VM' and 'macOS VM' [link to this forum].

Several of your VMs have active snapshots, where the snapshots sum upo to >100GB.

Unless you need the snapshots, consider deleting (consolidating) them from the VMs' Snapshot Manager. Please remember that due to the snapshots' sizes this can take considerable time, so please remain patient, and ensure that the host PC is not powered off, or enters sleep mode during that tim.
