Hi Guys
I'm struggling getting the sound working in Windows 95, I have set the sound device up as "es1371", evertime I try to install the sound device I get a BSOD - see attached - am I missing something simple, the driver I am using is SBPCI128Setupus_w9x.exe
cheers
NB I also get a BSOD when set to "sb16"
I'm getting the same BSOD in a Win98 SE Guest, when trying to install the sound driver.
Any Takers From VMware?
Thought I would test this againt Parallel's Workstation to see what happened....
VMware Workstation 0 - Parallels Worstation 1
It worked fine - so lesson I have learned is other companies can still compete with VMware, sorry guys!
And With Windows 98se no joy onVMWare but cool with PArallels 2-0 whats going on never had these on WS 5.5
sound.virtualDev = "TRUE"
search for driver SBPCI_WebDrvsV5_12_01.exe {Works with 98se - I stand corrected}
