Setup: Kali x64 and Windows 8 Enterprise x64 VMs
I have 2 StarTech USB 3.0 NIC devices (ASIX AX88179) with the drivers installed on both Kali and Win8. The issue is that VMware Workstation 10.0.3 build 1895310 only shows one of the devices under 'Removable Devices' on either/both machines when I have them plugged in. I can get both to show if I plug one of the NICs into the spare USB port on the other NIC; however, only one NIC can send/receive traffic with that setup.
Has anyone experienced this issue or have any suggestions on a possible fix?
