Module MSVCR80.dll generates errors.

Hi,
recently I notice that the module MSVCR80.dll generates errors.
Usually when I close VMware. Previously I have not noticed this and I change my system very carefully. I can not say what could be the trigger.

Thank you for reading.

VMware® Workstation

Version: 7.1.4 build-385536

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1

Memory: 6144 MB

Do you need a part from .log. I think no.

problems like this are hard to track - did you ever use the commandline-tool sxstrace.exe ?

It may help to re-install the vcredist runtimes

Ok, the folder "x86_microsoft.vc80.crt..." has nothing to do with VMware.

I deinstalled the Software "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)" and VMware works normaly until now.

Thanks.

correction:

VMware does not start without the file

"C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.5592_none_d09196c24426e2d4\msvcr80.dll",

a Microsoft C Runtime Library from the Product MS Visual Studio 2005 version 8.0.50727.5592.

The version of the installed (automatically by a Application) Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable are

8.0.59193

8.0.51011

I think it was not necessary to reinstall the MS Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable and

I hope the version 8.0.50727.5592 of msvcr80.dll is correct, because it was installed by VMware Workstation.

The problem is solved anyway because I know the connection now. I kept watching...
