Minimizing Full Screen on dual Monitors

On VMware Workstation 12.5.7 for Linux when I expand my VM to full screen and then extend the display to my second monitor everything works fine. But when I try to minimize the VM only the screen with the VMware control bar is minimized and the second screen is still in full view. When I try this with Workstation for Windows both screen are minimized. Is there anyway with the Linux product to have both screens minimized like they do on the Windows product?
