I migrated a host PC (a lenovo P1 XEON w10855 / 64G ram running Win 11x64 for workstation) running workstation pro 16.2 to 17.0 Since then guests are less responsive.
a) As example a guest running W10x64 with MSO with 6 proc, 16gb ram, if youtube play songs and i type message in outlook, at every carriage return in a mail or when sending a mail or when moving from a mail to another or deleting, the song stops or gest distorted. The CPU isn't that affected.
b) when shutting down WSP17 asks to do a snapshot. Regardless if i click on "take snapshot" or not i doesn't do the snapshot
c) if i switch from guest to guest the mouse is locked in the top left corner. ctrl-alt unlocks it
I tried to click or unclick the "disable the side channel" to see if these new performance issues could be solved.
Any clue ?
